LIGHTHOUSE CALLS

The Lighthouse Calls are part of the TIDAL ArtS initiative, funded by the European Union in support of the Mission to Restore Our Ocean and Waters by 2030.

Through this open call, 20 artists, collectives, and creatives from across Europe will each receive a grant of €15,000 to create community-focused artistic projects.

The selected works must actively engage citizens in their relationship with aquatic environments and raise public awareness of environmental challenges through artistic expression.

Five artists will be selected from each of the four designated Lighthouse regions:

• Atlantic–Arctic
• Mediterranean
• Baltic Sea–North Sea
• Danube–Black Sea

Projects must be completed by June 2026 and should include collaboration with scientists, educators, and local communities.
