GREEN | II EDIZIONE – CALL FOR ARTISTS

An International Exhibition Project by BLU Spazio delle Arti | RAABE APS

Museo del Fiume, Nazzano – Rome | March 2026

After the success of IBLUE (2024), BLU Spazio delle Arti presents IGREEN | II Edition, the new chapter of its chromatic exploration dedicated to the colors of our planet. The 2025–2026 edition turns its focus to GREEN — the color of nature, vitality, balance, and regeneration, but also of ambiguity, illusion, and contradiction.

In an era where green has become a universal keyword — evoking sustainability while often serving as a marketing label — IGREEN invites artists to question its deeper meaning.

What does green truly signify today? Which emotions, memories, and ethical or political implications does it carry? How can art reveal both the beauty and the hidden complexities of the “green” ideal?

IGREEN calls on artists to transform these reflections into visual, tactile, and conceptual form — not simply representing the color green, but investigating it as a field of poetic and critical tension where ecology and artifice, hope and fragility, nature and culture intertwine.

Promoted by BLU Spazio delle Arti, an independent cultural center founded in Rome by RAABE APS, the project embraces upcycling as a creative, ecological, and political act. Participating artists are encouraged to work with recycled, reclaimed, or natural materials, exploring low-impact and sustainable processes across painting, sculpture, installation, performance, sound, photography, video, and digital or textile arts.

A qualified jury will select the finalist works to be exhibited in March 2026 at the Museo del Fiume (Museum of the River) in Nazzano (Rome).

All selected works will be featured in a bilingual catalogue (Italian/English), and one artist will be awarded a solo project room at BLU Spazio delle Arti in autumn 2026.

The call is open to artists aged 18 and over, residing or active in EU countries.

Full details, technical requirements, and deadlines are available in the official Call and Regulations.
